Summer Festivals In Montenegro

When we finish our work, we’re all party. That’s why every year we have new festivals going around, so everybody can find something that likes.

In this blog we’ll mention few that are coming up.

Voted for the best medium-sized festival, gathering the hottest music stars in one place – Sea Dance Festival. It is a part of the Exit Festival that is organised in Serbia.

It is scheduled from 30th August to the 1st of September. This year we’ll have a pleasure to hoste megastars such as: David Guetta, Robin Schulz , Sven Väth, Richie Hawtin and many more.

In August by the shore of Krupac, near Niksic, we have Lake Fest held from the 8th to the 10th. With guests camping all around. Hosting mostly rock bands, one of the most famous performers was Manu Chao.

Everybody likes beer in the hot summer night. That’s why this year from the 26th to 28th of July we’ll have the very first Montenegro Beer Fest. It’s hosted by the old royal capital of Cetinje. One of the most picturesque and with history rich settlement in Montenegro.

For the art lovers in Kotor is held festival Kotor Art from the 27th of June till the 13th of August. It is a festival with different segments in it, form classical music to the theatrical performances and all the way to an alternative rock artists. Fun is hidden inside town’s walls. Part of the festival is also the international Carnival and in August the traditional and unique Boka Night where there is a procession of decorated boats that goes around the bay.

On the one of the longest beaches in Europe (13km) Long Beach in Ulcinj you can relax surrounded by the sounds of soul, jazz, funk and house live acts and DJs as a part of Southern Soul Festival Montenegro. The festival held between the 26th of June to the 1st of July hosting the artists such as: Airto Moreira & Group with Flora Purim, Nu Guinea Full Live Band, Alex From Tokyo, Anders and many others.

Reggae sounds and the sea, all you need for maximal chill out vacations. End of June takes us to Budva attending Sun Reggae Festival held from the 28th to the 30th of June.

In the capital city Podgorica from the 21st to the 24th of June the City Groove Festival is taking place. International stars and DJ will heat the atmosphere up in the capital of Montenegro at the local small stadium.
